Wendy Starland is an international pop sensation and Director of Soul Pop U. A graduate of Cornell University, Starland was recently named VH1's "Best Emerging Artist," and honored by The Songwriter's Hall Of Fame for her top 10 single, "Dancing With The Sea". Starland first gained notoriety as the featured vocalist on multi-platinum artist Moby's Grammy nominated album, Last Night, which went to #1 on the Billboard charts. Starland has also written and recorded duets with The Wu Tang Clan, and Capone of Island Def Jam's Capone & Noriega. Most recently, Starland has been credited with discovering Lady Gaga and serving as the pivotal force behind her production deal with Rob Fusari (Beyonce, Jessica Simpson, Whitney Houston) and subsequent record deal with Akon's KonLive Entertainment. Fashion luminaries Donna Karan, Boy Meets Girl, and Beauty Society are a few of the many celebrity designers who rely on Starland's music for their worldwide, multi-million dollar campaigns, featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, as well as Teen Vogue, Teen People, Cosmo Girl, Elle Magazine, and The New York Times. Her songs have been heard in countless movies and TV shows, including MTV's hit series "The Hills," "Las Vegas," "Hawaii" and ABC's "Regis and Kelly." Wendy's upcoming album features a Who's Who of Grammy-Award winners, and the A.C.O. Val Vibrata Symphony Orchestra based in Abruzzo, Italy. Her new single, "Love Will Come To You," is being released on dPulse/Universal.
